There are many different ways to stay safe. Utilize today’s technology. Share your location with close family and friends. Always inform some where you are. If you are visiting a place you have never gone before take a friend with you. Do your research by checking for crime in the area. If meeting someone new perform background checks, check their social media etc. Consider the “red flags” often times they are so obvious.
