You are a very strong woman. To suffer an unimaginable loss and manage to cope with those emotions while putting together a foundation that will benefit others is remarkable. Your daughters are as blessed to have you as you are to have them- even if only in your heart.
Some of the greatest changes to our laws have come from the greatest of personal tragedies. Keep pushing your message. Gather emails and phone numbers of people that hold local, state, and nationally elected positions- ask your family and friends to share their personal stories of loss. Change has to happen, and silence never brings about change.
